Paranormal Investigation: Identifying a Path to Resolution

Updated: 1 day ago

October Newsletter

Given my long time interest and experience in paranormal investigations, my Communications Team convinced me this summer to offer a new service. The new service, Paranormal Investigation: Identifying a Path to Resolution includes an extended on-site investigation and a follow-up call to confirm progress. You can read more about it on THIS PAGE... but here's a few reasons why these investigations are requested.

- Unexplained noises, footsteps, or voices that seem to have no source.

- Objects moving or falling without logical explanation.

- Doors or windows opening or closing on their own.

- Pets behaving unusually, such as barking, growling, or avoiding certain areas.

- Experiencing sudden temperature changes in specific locations.

- A feeling of being watched or sensing an unseen presence.

- Electronics acting erratically, including flickering lights or drained batteries.

- Recurring nightmares or disruptions in sleep tied to specific rooms.

A SPOOKY STORY... AN INVESTIGATION I DID EARLY IN MY CAREER

I remember one of my first paranormal investigations vividly. I received a call from a man who was renting several rooms in a house that had been turned into a small apartment complex. The man living there and others in the house were scared. They had strange things happening—televisions turning on by themselves, voices echoing in the hallways when no one was there, even background voices on phone calls. They were desperate for answers and peace.

When I arrived, I could feel the heaviness of the place. It’s a sensation I’ve learned to recognize—a sort of dense energy that clings to the air. I started my investigation, moving from room to room, trying to piece together what was going on. As I entered one of the rooms, I was immediately drawn to the bed. There, under the bed where this man's daughter slept, was the spirit of a little girl. She looked frightened and lost, as if she had been hiding for a long time.

I knew instantly that this was more than just a restless spirit. There was something deeper here. As I continued my work, I went down to the basement—a space that felt even darker. That’s where I encountered the spirit of a man. I didn’t know who he was at first, but he had a disturbed energy about him. I found myself talking to him, trying to understand why he was still lingering.

After learning the history of the house, I discovered a tragic story. Back in 1937, a 12-year-old girl had been murdered by her uncle in that very house. I realized that the man in the basement was the uncle, and the little girl hiding under the bed was his victim. She was too frightened to make her transition, and he was stuck in his own turmoil. It was heartbreaking.

I explained to the renter that sometimes, when spirits experience such terrible events, they get caught in a loop. They don’t know how to move on, and once they are seen and spoken to, it often helps them make their full transition. I also warned that negative spirits, like the one in the basement, prey on the weak. It’s important to keep your mind clear and not give in to fear or negativity.

A few days later, I called the renter to follow up. He was relieved to share that the disturbances had stopped. The apartment felt peaceful. It was such a powerful moment for me—knowing that I had helped not only the living but also those spirits find some resolution. That’s when I knew this was a path I was meant to walk.

Life is definitely full of affirming moments.

Love,

Donna
